With the built-in model, AI processing runs locally on your computer and conversation data is not sent to an external AI provider. If you choose an external AI provider, the data required for your request is sent to that provider using your configured account or credentials.

What happens after you subscribe
- 1 Your licence key arrives by email, separately from the Paddle receipt.
- 2 Download jhint and install it — drag it to Applications on macOS, or run the installer on Windows.
- 3 Open Settings → License, paste the key, and the trial starts.
Do you offer a lifetime licence?
No. jhint is maintained as an actively updated desktop product and is available through a monthly or yearly subscription.
Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy — 14 days, no questions asked.
